We at CrabNebula actively contribute to open source projects to strengthen our communities and ecosystems. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Product Manager to join our team. This is a technical domain, at a start-up scale, but the product role isn't here to provide solutions (we have smart engineers for that), this role is about understanding our customers, using data to inform decision making and setting long term visions for the teams. Our customers are engineers, engineering leadership, business and product stakeholders - all distributed globally. We are looking for diverse, inquisitive individuals that above all enjoy solving problems with automation, tooling and technology. We're interested in the right mindset over previous experience; the way you approach a problem, search for answers and validate an option is more important than what you've done before (or where). You don't need to be able to fulfill all of the requirements, just articulate how your transferable skills can apply to this opportunity.
Responsible for connecting with a wide range of customers through interviews, focus groups and workshops
Create a compelling vision for Developer Experience and CI/CD and continually shape with the teams
Continuous discovery - embedding user research throughout the project and steering a course to build the best product
Experience measuring impact, able to define what data we need to prove impact.
Authoritative coach able to educate and embed ‘product' best practice.
Able to evangelise for the products as well as infrastructure pillar.
A technical mindset
You understand the basics of a cloud native SDLC (software development lifecycle)
Able to discuss & contribute (not lead) technical discussions with engineers and stakeholders
Clear, succinct written and verbal communication internally and externally (in English)
Sympathetic to user needs, but laser focused on how an outcome delivers business benefit
Passionate about achieving great outcomes
You can use quantitative and qualitative data to make priority calls
An inquisitive mind that's not afraid to ask questions
Capable of synthesising key insights, validating problems and constructing clear problem statements that tackle the root cause (before any discussion of solutions)
You enjoy swiftly learning about new technology
