Daniel Thompson is a long-time open source champion, contributor and a passionate innovator of tools. His professional career has spanned the realms of culture, technology and social activism. Daniel’s dedication to life-long learning and personal development has equipped him to become an agile and compassionate leader. Together with Lucas, he co-founded the Tauri open source project, and also serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Tauri Programme within the Commons Conservancy.
Lucas Nogueira was awarded his bachelor of Computer Science degree from Universidade Estadual Paulista, one of the top universities in Brazil. He started his career focusing on full stack web development working with Laravel and Angular for three years then began working on larger finance-focused projects. In the middle of his career, Lucas started taking an interest in diverse open source communities, joining the Quasar Framework core team in 2019 and co-founding Tauri in the same year. His passion is working with Tauri and taking it to the next level.
Elizabeth Duck is an experienced commercial business professional. Starting her professional career with Weleda AG in Germany she gained her first experience in Project and Change Management. Elizabeth later took the lead as Managing Director at a local pet food company. She is continuously striving to support and maintain sustainable and collaborative cultures within her teams. In addition to having lived and worked in Germany and Sweden for 18 years, she has also lived and studied in the USA, South Africa and India. Elizabeth is excited to facilitate the dreams of the team by managing Services and Support for CrabNebula.
